QBD is proud to showcase our recent project in collaboration with the Curious Cafe in Cheltenham. The challenge at hand was to breathe new life into the cafe’s exterior by installing a new shopfront. With our expertise in bespoke manufacturing and quality craftsmanship, we successfully crafted a stunning shopfront using mild steel, coated with RAL 9005 powder coating and a rust-proof primer.
The Curious Cafe, nestled in the heart of Cheltenham, has established itself as a beloved local gathering spot. However, the existing shopfront was outdated and failed to reflect the cafe’s unique charm and atmosphere. Understanding the client’s vision and requirements, QBD embarked on a comprehensive approach to deliver a truly bespoke shopfront that would redefine the cafe’s identity.
QBD’s design team worked closely with the Curious Cafe to create a unique shopfront that would seamlessly blend with the cafe’s aesthetics while making a bold statement. The decision to use mild steel as the primary material was made due to its strength, versatility, and ability to be shaped.
To achieve a sleek and contemporary look, QBD applied a powder coating in RAL 9005, a deep black hue known for its timeless elegance. This high-quality coating not only enhances the visual appeal of the shopfront but also offers exceptional protection against rust, scratches, and general wear and tear.
The finished result is a visually striking shopfront that effortlessly reflects the Curious Cafe’s brand and ambiance. The new shopfront instantly revitalised the cafe’s exterior, making it a focal point in the neighbourhood.
